Volleyball Recap: Mount Ayr Gets the Win

Mount Ayr saw some tournament action on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Mid-Buchanan Dragons 2-1.

Mount Ayr has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Mid-Buchanan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7-1.

Looking ahead, Mount Ayr will venture away from home to challenge Nodaway Valley on Tuesday. As for Mid-Buchanan, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Lamoni on the 27th.
