Baseball Recap: Crooms Academy Comes Up Short

Crooms Academy lost against Lake Mary Prep last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Crooms Academy Panthers lost 10-4 to the Lake Mary Prep Griffins. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crooms Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Marcialis, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Crooms Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Lake Mary Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.

Coming up, Crooms Academy will take on Trinity Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Prep has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.22 runs per game on average), something Crooms Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of. Lake Mary Prep will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Legacy Charter at 6:00 p.m. on March 24th.
