Ovilla Christian had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Weatherford Christian Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ovilla Christian was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-14.

Gracie Scott was the offensive standout of the game as she had six digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (seven).

Scott wasn't the only good server: Ovilla Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in three consecutive matchups.

Ovilla Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-3-1. As for Weatherford Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ovilla Christian will head out to challenge Dallas Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Weatherford Christian, they will take on Pantego Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
