Happy Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. The match between them and the Johnson County Longhorns didn't end well, with the Happy Valley Warriors falling 64-46. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Johnson County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Audrey Shaw led the charge by going 5 of 11 to rack up 19 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Shaw has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. MacKenzie McClain was another key player, going 5 for 11 en route to 19 points and six assists.

Happy Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Johnson County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-19.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Happy Valley will venture away from home to face off against Unaka at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Unaka is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.4 points per game this season. As for Johnson County, they will take on Patrick Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
