Basketball Recap: Norwalk's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kennedy, Norwalk was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Newton Cardinals by a score of 45-38. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Norwalk's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for Newton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Norwalk is taking a road trip to challenge Oskaloosa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Newton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Albia at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
