Baseball Recap: Hillel Academy Finds Home Field Redemption Against Summit Academy

There's no place like home for Hillel Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Summit Academy Knights on Sunday as the Hillel Academy Heat made off with an 18-2 win.

The team relied heavily on Ashi Itskowitz, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Yosef Levari, who scored two runs while going 2-for-5.

Itskowitz wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Hillel Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since the start of last season.

The victory got Hillel Academy back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillel Academy will square off against Aquinas Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Summit Academy, they will challenge Avella at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
