Softball Recap: Center Hill Comes Up Short

Center Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ripley Tigers.

Center Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ripley, they pushed their record up to 3-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Center Hill will face off against Lafayette at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lafayette is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
