Killingly extended their postseason success on Sunday against Waterford. They breezed by the Waterford Lancers to the tune of 42-7. The result was nothing new for the Redmen, who have now won ten contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Hayden Allard and Everton Brown. Allard rushed for 197 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry while Brown rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Brown's longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Killingly was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 378 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 158 rushing yards in 23 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Killingly didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Logan Lamontagne, Aiden Lamotte, and Allard picked up one apiece. The dominant performance also gave Lamontagne a new career-high in total tackles (seven).

Killingly's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. As for Waterford, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3.
