Soccer Recap: Spanish Springs Takes a Loss

Spanish Springs lost against Reno back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Spanish Springs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Emma Frank, who's now up to 12 this season.

Spanish Springs' loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-6-1. As for Reno, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1-2.

Spanish Springs didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hug on the 30th. As for Reno, they have also already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against North Valleys on the 27th.
