Softball Recap: Rehoboth Christian Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rehoboth Christian can now relate to. They fell 5-2 to the Capitan Tigers on Thursday. The Lynx were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in April of 2015.

Rehoboth Christian saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominique Delariva, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Rehoboth Christian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-11 record this season. As for Capitan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.

Rehoboth Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Capitan, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-0 loss against Loving on the 15th.
