Softball Recap: Boone County Takes a Loss

Boone County came into this matchup off a tough seven-run defeat on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Cooper Jaguars by a score of 7-5 on Wednesday. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Boone County's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Cooper, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-16.

Looking ahead, Boone County will head out to challenge St. Ursula Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cooper, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Taylor at 5:30 p.m. The Yellowjackets will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
