Soccer Recap: North Penn Comes Up Short

The North Penn Knights came up short against the Springfield Township Spartans on Tuesday and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, North Penn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 116th, while Springfield Township are ranked 32nd).

North Penn has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7-1 record this season. As for Springfield Township, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-4-1.

As of now, neither North Penn nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
