South Adams is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

South Adams' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was GenaMarie Summersett, who had six digs and four aces.

Summersett wasn't the only good servers: South Adams was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Woodlan beat Adams Central 3-1 on Thursday.

South Adams' victory bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Woodlan, their win bumped their record up to 23-7.

South Adams came up short against Woodlan in their previous meeting back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Starfires avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
