Blue River Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taylor Shelton, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shelton has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ella Schmidt, who scored 12 points.
Cambridge City Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Blue River Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
Cambridge City Lincoln was dealt a bruising 55-28 loss at the hands of Blue River Valley in their previous meeting back in January of 2023.
