Football Recap: Walnut Wildcats vs. Biggersville Lions
It was a proper cat-fight when Walnut took on Biggersville on Friday. The Wildcats took a 34-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Xae Mayes continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Biggersville, throwing for 157 yards and four TDs, while also rushing for 127 yards and one score on only five carries. Mayes' longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Demri Gunn was in the mix too, providing Biggersville with two touchdowns.
