Baseball Recap: La Habra Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

The La Habra Highlanders got the win against the La Quinta Blackhawks on Thursday by a conclusive 7-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Highlanders.

La Habra got a great performance from Maddox Moreno as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Moreno has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Fernado Alatorre was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Gandara, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

La Habra's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8.
