Thornton and Overland are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2022, but likely not for long. The Trojans will square off against the Blazers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thornton managed to keep up with Adams City until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Trojans came up short against the Eagles, falling 4-0. Thornton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Overland has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 9. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gateway on Thursday.

Overland's loss dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Thornton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Thornton was able to grind out a solid victory over Overland in their previous meeting back in March, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
