Softball Recap: Tahquitz Comes Up Short

Tahquitz had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 2-14 to make it four. They lost 14-1 to the Elsinore Tigers. The matchup marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Reyna Garcia made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

As for Elsinore, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

On Elsinore's side, they let Cassandra Wade and Isabella Wade run wild. Cassandra went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs, while Isabella went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs Isabella has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Mulvanny, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Tahquitz has already played their next matchup, a 15-12 victory against San Jacinto on the 16th. As for Elsinore, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against West Valley on the 16th.
