The Parma Panthers will face off against Vision at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. The timing is sure in Parma's favor as the  team sits on ten straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Vision has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.
On Wednesday, Parma got the win against Melba  by a conclusive  15-4. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine matchups by nine  runs or more  so far this season.
 Maya Jensen made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out ten batters over  five innings while giving up  four earned runs off   five  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.

 In other batting news,  Lakota Leppert was a standout: she scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. What's more,  she posted two  doubles, the most she's  had since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Poppy Nichols, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI and one  double.
 Parma  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 16  hits. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 5.5  hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 11.4.
Meanwhile, Vision scored the most  runs they've had  this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost  31-14 to Nampa Christian.
  Lydia Vollmer stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. That  run was  her first of the season.  Kylie Ford was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Parma's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Vision, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
Vision's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Parma hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .383. It's a different story for Vision, though, as  they've  only  averaged .222. Will they be able to contain Parma's hitters?
 Everything went Parma's way against Vision when the teams last played  back in March of 2021, as Parma made off with  a  28-0 win. Do  the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will Vision turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
