After flying high against Sandhills Homeschool on Thursday, Sandhills Classical Christian came back down to earth. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Northwood Temple Academy Eagles on Monday. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Sandhills Classical Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Northwood Temple Academy work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 27-25, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Sandhills Classical Christian lost, don't look at Jersi Olsen. Despite the final result, she had eight digs, seven kills, and one block. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Jackson, who had 12 digs.

Sandhills Classical Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Northwood Temple Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Sandhills Classical Christian will head out on the road to face off against Christ the Cornerstone Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwood Temple Academy, they will be playing at home against Fayetteville Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
