Recap: Lincoln Leopards vs. Stafford Trojans
The Lincoln Leopards lost against the Stafford Trojans back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Lincoln fell to Stafford 44-39.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stafford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jimi Oleson, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Lowther, who scored 13 points.
Lincoln now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Stafford, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Osborne on January 5, 2024. Stafford won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cunningham at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. Hopefully Cunningham focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday.
