Brenham entered their tilt with A&M Consolidated on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Cubs, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Brenham's victory bumped their record up to 16-7-1. As for A&M Consolidated, they dropped their record down to 11-13-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
