Soccer Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Medical Lake Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Medical Lake this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in April.

Lakeside dropped their record down to 5-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Medical Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Lakeside will challenge Newport at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Medical Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
