Baseball Recap: Rock Hill Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dawson-Bryant on Friday, Rock Hill came back down to earth. The Redmen lost 10-2 to the Ironton Fighting Tigers on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redmen of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Rock Hill has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Ironton, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rock Hill will square off against rival Chesapeake at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Ironton is set to face off against their familiar foe Dawson-Bryant at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
