Mountain Vista won the last time they faced Ponderosa and Sofia Posada did her part to make sure it happened again. The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs on Thursday for which the team can thank Posada, who had 16 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Mountain Vista has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Ponderosa, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Mountain Vista and Ponderosa will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Golden Eagles see the court they'll take on Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Ponderosa, their break will end when they face Legend at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
