Football Game Preview: Bertie Falcons vs. Camden County Bruins

The Bertie Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Camden County Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bertie's offense hasn't had much luck over their past six matchups, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Bertie lost to Manteo at home by a 28-12 margin. While the Falcons had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Redskins 6-0.

Meanwhile, Camden County was beaten by Holmes 51-7 on Friday. The Bruins haven't had much luck with the Aces recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Bertie will have to contain Javon Riddick as he made an impact in Camden County's last game. He rushed for 63 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Camden County's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bertie, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
