Softball Recap: Hatton Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hatton can now relate to. They came up short against the Wilson Warriors on Tuesday, falling 8-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hornets have suffered since April 3rd.

Hatton's defeat dropped their record down to 21-26-2. As for Wilson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-22 record this season.

Hatton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wilson, they will head out on the road to take on Reading at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors are facing the Red KNights at the right time seeing as the Red KNights are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
