Basketball Recap: Portal Panthers vs. Bryan County Redskins
If Portal was feeling good fresh off their 59-34 takedown of Claxton last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The match between the Portal Panthers and the Bryan County Redskins didn't end well, with the Portal Panthers falling 44-26. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, with their most recent defeat being a 55-41 loss back in January.
Despite the defeat, Portal saw an underclassman step up: sophomore London Blackmon posted eight points in addition to 11 boards and three steals.
