Volleyball Recap: STEM School Highlands Ranch Takes a Loss

STEM School Highlands Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Vail Christian Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 9th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-19.

STEM School Highlands Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Vail Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

STEM School Highlands Ranch will be taking part in a tournament against DSST: College View at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Vail Christian, they will square off against Denver Waldorf at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Saints surely won't give up without a fight.
