Volleyball Recap: Yorba Linda Comes Up Short

Yorba Linda lost against Sunny Hills back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Lancers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Yorba Linda ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-17.

Yorba Linda's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Sunny Hills, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 19-10.

Yorba Linda will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on El Dorado at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. The Mustangs are facing the Golden Hawks at the right time seeing as the Golden Hawks are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Sunny Hills, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Roosevelt on the 14th.
