Basketball Game Preview: Faith Baptist Contenders vs. Grant Lancers

Faith Baptist will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Valley Torah, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Faith Baptist came out on top against Valley Torah by a score of 64-53 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Contenders.

Meanwhile, Grant was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 59-58 to Calabasas. The loss was the Lancers' first of the season.

Faith Baptist is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Grant, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
