Belmont won the last time they faced Alcorn Central and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Belmont Cardinals put the hurt on the Alcorn Central Bears with a sharp 65-45 victory. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Belmont is also on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. As for Alcorn Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-10 record.

Belmont will take on Booneville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Booneville will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Belmont surely won't give up without a fight. Alcorn Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
