Volleyball Recap: Union Grove's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Union Grove waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the St. Ambrose Academy Guardians by a score of 2-0.

Tyler Johnson paced Union Grove's offense, picking up eight kills. Johnson got some help from Alex Lapoint and his ten assists. Lapoint was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Union Grove's win bumped their record up to 10-18. As for St. Ambrose Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Union Grove will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wilmot at 5:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for St. Ambrose Academy, they will take on Oconomowoc at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
