Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alcoa). Their defense stepped up to hand the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals an 8-0 shutout on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Alcoa pushed their record up to 5-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alcoa will host South-Doyle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they will welcome Oneida at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
