Soccer Recap: Shelby Beats Crest for Their Fourth Straight Win

Shelby took a six-goal loss the last time they faced off against Crest, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Shelby Golden Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Crest Chargers on Friday. The Golden Lions' winning goal came courtesy of Sadie Oliver.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four contests. As for Crest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Shelby will host Chase at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Shelby will be up against Chase's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.75 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
