Volleyball Preview: Wachusett Regional Mountaineers vs. Westborough Rangers        
        
		
            Wachusett Regional is 0-10 against Westborough since April of 2021 but things could change  on Thursday. The Mountaineers are taking a road trip to  face off against the Rangers  at 5:15  p.m. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
On Wednesday, Wachusett Regional beat Nipmuc Regional 3-1.
 Wachusett Regional walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 16-25, 25-8,  25-22.
Meanwhile, Westborough was able to grind out a solid  win over Barnstable on Tuesday, taking the game  3-1. The  victory continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Red Hawks: they've now won five in a row.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 21-25, 25-23,  25-15.
Wachusett Regional better keep an eye on  Leila Ditullio. She was instrumental in Westborough's win,  getting 16  digs and eight  aces. That's the most  aces  Ditullio has posted since back in September.
 Westborough  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 17  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Barnstable only  served eight.
 Wachusett Regional's record is now 14-5. As for Westborough, their record now sits at 12-2-1.
 Wachusett Regional came up short against Westborough in their previous matchup  two weeks ago, falling  3-1. Can the Mountaineers avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
