Basketball Game Preview: Red Mountain Mountain Lions vs. Mesa Jackrabbits

Red Mountain hasn't had much luck against Mesa recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Red Mountain Mountain Lions will host the Mesa Jackrabbits at 7:00 p.m. That match will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Drew Hall and Jakyi Miles.

On Friday, Red Mountain came up short against Gilbert and fell 57-47.

Meanwhile, Mesa waltzed into their game on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They slipped by the Raiders 52-51. The 52-point effort marked the Jackrabbits' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Mesa has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for Red Mountain, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-5.
