Football Recap: Cape Henlopen Takes Down Ranked Dover + How To Watch

Cape Henlopen faced Dover in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Vikings enjoyed a cozy 47-28 victory over the Senators. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 27-24 win the Senators walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

A big part of Cape Henlopen's victory came down to the chemistry between Jameson Tingle and his top target Lamar McCoy. Tingle rushed for 108 yards and one TD on only five carries while McCoy picked up 66 receiving yards and three scores. What's more, Tingle racked up 148.2 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

Cape Henlopen's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3. As for Dover, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
