Baseball Game Preview: Lakeview Warriors vs. Shepaug Valley Spartans

The Lakeview Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Shepaug Valley Spartans at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Lakeview comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Monday, Lakeview came up short against Nonnewaug and fell 12-7.

Meanwhile, Shepaug Valley owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They came out on top against Nonnewaug by a score of 5-0. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Shepaug Valley's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Lakeview, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Lakeview might still be hurting after the 12-5 loss they got from Shepaug Valley when the teams last played back in April. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
