Mt. Pleasant suffered their biggest defeat since April 3rd on Monday. They came up short against the Live Oak Acorns, falling 3-0. The Cardinals' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-15.

Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Live Oak, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 20-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Pleasant is set to take on their familiar foe James Lick at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Live Oak will square off against rival Gilroy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
