Wichita Heights (Kan.) saw its national-best, 62-game win streak come to an end Tuesday in a 56-51 loss to
East (Wichita).
The Falcons – three-time defending Class 6A champions in Kansas – hadn't lost since Dec. 19, 2009 and beat East 70-60 back on Jan. 13. Heights was rarely tested during its two-year run of success, winning 50 of 62 contests by 10 points or more.
