Softball Recap: Roxbury Central Comes Up Short

Roxbury Central's last matchup with Delaware Academy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Rockets came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Rockets in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Roxbury Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Delaware Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Roxbury Central will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Kortright Central at 4:15 p.m. on the 30th. As for Delaware Academy, they will challenge Bainbridge-Guilford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
