Basketball Game Preview: Saranac Spartans vs. Voorheesville Blackbirds

The Saranac Spartans will challenge the Voorheesville Blackbirds at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Saranac comes in on five and Voorheesville on three.

Saranac is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup two weeks ago. They were the clear victor by a 49-29 margin over Northeastern Clinton. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Voorheesville was able to grind out a solid victory over Mechanicville on Saturday, taking the game 62-51.

Saranac's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Voorheesville, their victory bumped their record up to 16-7.
