Basketball Recap: Fishers Sets Scoring Season-High Against Castle

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fishers). They came out on top against the Castle Knights by a score of 58-51 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayden Scott, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 21 points. Thanks to that strong game, Scott now owns an excellent 40.3% three-point shooting accuracy. Jordyn Poelhuis was another key player, going 5-for-10 en route to 12 points and four steals.

Fishers now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Castle, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Fishers has already played their next game, a 45-40 win against Evansville North on the 6th. As for Castle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-53 victory against Silver Creek on the 6th.
