Volleyball Recap: East Newton Takes a Loss

East Newton lost against Glendale back in September of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Patriots took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Kolby Rinehart paced East Newton's offense, picking up four kills. Rinehart got some help from Camryn Cornett and her seven assists.

East Newton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14-1. As for Glendale, their win bumped their record up to 12-5-3.

East Newton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Parkview on the 4th. As for Glendale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Nevada on the 4th.
