Lee County can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Colquitt County Packers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lee County easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20.

Jada Ridley paced Lee County's offense, picking up seven kills. Ridley got some help from Mayce Roberts and her 11 assists. Roberts was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Colquitt County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Coming up, Lee County will be playing in front of their home fans against Lowndes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colquitt County, they will venture away from home to challenge Thomas County Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
