Soccer Recap: Valley Forge Military Academy's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

Valley Forge Military Academy was the 4-2 winner over Ridley when they last played one another back in November of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Valley Forge Military Academy came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while Ridley are ranked 401st).

Having lost for the first time this season, Valley Forge Military Academy fell to 5-1-3. As for Ridley, their victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.

Looking ahead, Valley Forge Military Academy will welcome Conestoga at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridley, they are taking a road trip to face off against Penncrest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
