Volleyball Recap: Lithia Springs Takes a Loss

Lithia Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Paulding Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Lithia Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 8-25. As for South Paulding, their win bumped their record up to 19-21.

Lithia Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Paulding, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Kennesaw Mountain on the 9th.
