Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Loretto). They blew past the Immanuel Christian Warriors 49-12 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Angels with their most commanding win of the season.

Despite the defeat, Immanuel Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore T'Mara Simon dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Simon is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in the last three games she's played. Izzy Alarcon also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

The win got Loretto back to even at 10-10. As for Immanuel Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.

Loretto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Immanuel Christian, they will welcome Patterson Institute at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Patterson Institute's defense has only allowed 27.9 points per game this season, so Immanuel Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
