Soccer Recap: Geneva Takes a Loss

Geneva managed to keep up with New Brockton until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Geneva Panthers lost 6-3 to the New Brockton Gamecocks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gamecocks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 two weeks ago.

This is the second loss in a row for Geneva and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for New Brockton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Geneva and New Brockton will both be playing Dale County the next time they take the pitch. New Brockton will host Dale County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Geneva will host them at 5:30 p.m. on April 1st.
